NEW ORLEANS: Sikh community of New Orleans is thankful to the Sikh Community of California for their great moral and monetary support to build the Gurdwara Sahib in New Orleans. As this is only Gurdwara Sahib being built in the Louisiana State (nearest Gurdwara Sahib to this place is at 200 miles), the Sikh Community of California has really appreciated the efforts being made for the construction of this Gurdwara Sahib.
Malkiat Singh Dhillon (Live Oak), S. Mota Singh Thiara (Live Oak), S. Sardara Singh Dhami (Live Oak), S. Inder Singh Batth (Lodi), S. Pritpal Singh Batth (Fresno), and S. Raghubir Singh Khosa (Fresno) went door to door requesting the monetary help for this holy purpose. Their dedication for this purpose is highly appreciated. May Waheguru accept their humble service and bless them.
Many Gurmukh have promised to mail their checks during December 1990. May Waheguru bless them with more courage and ability to help in this holy cause? Please make the Check Payable to Gurdwara Sahib New Orleans (Dedicated to the Memory of the Sikh Martyrs) and mail to P.O.Box 1833, New Orleans, LA 70187,
Amolak Singh
