AYODHYA: The BJP’s Advani said on Monday a temple would be constructed in place of a medieval Muslim Mosque and no government could change the plan.

Advani said at a public meeting “governments may change but the Ram temple will be constructed” at the site, the BJP and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad say is the birthplace of Ram.

He said there was “nothing judicial” in the temple Mosque dispute and the sentiments (of the Hindus) needed no verification by documents.

He said his party respected secularism and “we have put the secularism in proper perspective” but political parties were carrying on with the appeasement of the minorities and neglecting the Hindus.

”The BJP is truly nationalist political party and has always worked for unity in the society,” he said.
