Police Thursday ordered a search of the river Saryu here following the recovery of three decomposed bodies with sand bags tied to their feet but authorities have denied that security forces had dumped bodies of Kar Sewaks killed in Tuesday’s violence into the river.
They also insisted that the toll in October 30 violence when the kar Sewaks of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad stormed the Babri Masjid, was very low.
