SRINAGAR: The infiltration of Pakistan trained militants across the border is still continuing, the director general of police of Kashmir, J N Saxena, said Monday.
Saxena told reporters some girls had also gone across the border for arms training, though none of them had returned.
He said 400 to 450 militants belonging to Jkif, Hizbul Mujahideen and Ul Umer Mujahideen have been arrested during the past six months.
Security forces have seized vast quantities of arms and ammunition including 540 Ak47 rifles, 30 LMG/UMG, 500 pistols and revolvers, 650 anti-personnel mines, 100 anti-tank mines, 100 rockets, 45 launchers, 4,000 grenades and one lakh rounds of Ak47 rifles from the infiltrators, he said.
