CARUTHERS: Satvinder Kaur Gill was united in holy matrimony to S. Rajinder Singh Athwal at the Pacific Coast Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara Sahib here on June 30.
Satvinder Kaur is the daughter of Sardar Daljit Singh Gill and late Mohinder Kaur. She is niece of S Charanjit Singh Bath.
Rajinder Singh is the son of S Ajaib Singh and Sardarni Kirpal Kaur Athwal and grandson of S Shiv Singh Purewal.
The marriage reception was heId the same evening. Around 2,000 Sikhs attended the marriage and reception which was held at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Many friends and relatives from both sides had traveled all the way from Canada.
