CHANDIGARH: On the basis of a number of charges the govt has issued a notice to the state power board chief N.S. Vasant asking him why he should not be removed from his past.
A charge sheet has been filed and he has been asked to reply within 15 days, Vasant who completed 10 years as PSEB chief has 9 months to retire; Vasant a resourceful man has got several extensions as PSEB chief.
Most of the charges are related to corruption and favoritism.
