NEW DELHI:  India Friday dismissed as “entirely false and baseless” Benazir Bhutto’s accusation that New Delhi was sending agents to Sindh province in Pakistan to aggravate the ethnic conflict there.

An external affairs ministry spokesman said here Bhutto’s allegation appeared to be a diversionary tactic to draw attention away from Pakistan’s “blatant and continuing interference in India’s internal affairs through support to militancy and subversion in Kashmir and Punjab.”
