NEW DELHI: A Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) member from north Bombay Ram Naik, alleged in the Indian Parliament that over 50,000 Pakistanis were illegally living in Bombay and demanded their immediate arrest and deportation.
Raising the issue in the lower house of the parliament Naik said that since their visas had expired and they were living illegally their deportation was necessary in view of the strained relations between the two countries,” he said.
Naik said that pro Pakistani terrorists had spread their dangerous activities beyond Kashmir and in other northern states and referred to the bomb blast in a running suburban train in Malad railway station in his constituency in which 37 people were injured. The Mujahideen Kashmir had owned the responsibility for it, he pointed out.
Later joined by an independent member from Bombay, Naik demanded a statement on the blast by the home and the railway minister.
