PUNE: Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar who was awarded the Dada sahib Phalke award said’ it was one of the happiest moments in my life.
“I received many international awards, but the national honor given by my own country is the greatest,” the nightingale of the Indian screen exclaimed.
Mangeshkar had reduced her singing engagements for about two years because of a health problem. However, she has now resumed recording and sings two three songs daily for Hindi movies.
