ISLAMBAD: At least 15 persons were killed and several injured in ethnic violence, group clashes, bomb blasts and sniper firings it the Sindh province and some other parts of Pakistan during the past three days, reports here said.
Nine persons lost their lives in a resurgence of violence in trouble torn Hyderabad since March 20. Security forces have intensified patrolling in Hyderabad and Latifabad. Scattered incidents of firing were reported form Liaquat colony and Latifabad. Police have arrested two persons for carrying unlicensed arms.
In Jhang, three persons were killed and 24 injured in a bomb explosion in busy Babi Umer Chowk. The bomb was placed inside a car.
In a clash between two rival groups in Sargodha, a worker of the Pakistan Muslim League was shot dead. The two groups were on their way to attend the opposition rally in Lahore
