NEW DELHI: Prime Minister VP Singh has cautioned against expecting instant solutions to the complicated problems of Punjab Kashmir and the Babri Masjid.

In an interview to Doordarshan, on his 100 days in office, VP Singh these problems had been complicated over the years. He said the Govt was making sincere efforts to resolving these adopting a national all party approach but it would be too much to expect instant solutions nor would they be desirable.

Singh expressed the hope that the visit of the all-party team to Kashmir would be helpful in arriving at a solution to the vexed problem. He said the three problems of Punjab, Kashmir and Babri Masjid were national problems.

He admitted violence continued in Punjab but said he noticed a distinct change in the people’s attitude.
