JAMMU: The massive procession in Kashmir on Feb 28 in which thousands marched to the shrine of Sheikh Noorudin Wali at Chaar I Sharief to seek his blessings for the current “freedom struggle” has sparked another exodus of the minorities to Jammu.

More than a thousand people have come here in the last two days and registered themselves with the co-ordination committee of social and religious organizations which has taken up the questions of relief and rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants with the government.

The procession which coincided with the Muslim festival of Meraj Alam was taken out on the call of Hilal Ahmar a body formed by relative of some top separatists to organize distribution of essential commodities in Srinagar.
