LONDON: A four member team from UK is in Punjab to study the human rights situation there. The team will present its findings to the International Human Rights Commission and the British Parliament.
The previous Congress I Govt had denied permission to this team to visit Punjab.
The team comprises Mr. Richard Bailiff, Member European Parliament, and Dr. Patrick Chaney, Member UN subcommittee on human rights, Mr. Max Maddon, MP, and Mr. Jobn Taylor, Director, Institute of Human Rights, London.
