MADRAS: A high-level delegation of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) held discussions here with the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Karunanidhi, on the issue of ethnic Tamils in the island country.
The discussion lasted about 100 minutes.
The four-member team, headed by chief negotiator, Anton Balasingam, flew in here from Colombo Thursday night.
The federal urban development minister, Murasoli Maran, who belongs to Tamil Nadu, was also present at the discussions.
