LONDON: The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has asked G.P. Hinduja chairman of the Hindjua group, to depose before the investigating officials handling the Bofors case.
A notice under section 160 of the (Indian) criminal procedure code (CRPC) was delivered to Hinduja by registered mail at his London address a few days back, according to Indian High Commission sources here.
Hinduja received the notice here in London and his solicitors have already replied to it, sources close to Hinduja confirmed on Thursdays
