NEW DELHI: Lalita Shastri, wife of late Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, was admitted Monday morning to a hospital here after a heart attack.
Doctors described her condition as “stable”. The 82 year old Mrs, Shastni’s condition was steady and clinical investigations were on, hospital authorities said.
In a message to Lalita Shastri President R. Vanketaraman wished her speedy recovery.
