I would like to bring one of the many cases pending in the S.F. Consulate office. I applied for a passport in June 1989, pending an enquiry from India. Since I was m no hurry [let it sit up till now January 1990. But the other day I went to enquire about it, I was referred to Mr. Khanna, Consul who suggested since it takes long for enquiry why don’t I pay him $900.00 to take care of the enquiry and mail me my passport. After consulting one Mr. Geroh, Idecided.to reports this matter to the newspaper and the ambassador.
