NEW DELHI: About 100 women of Delhi unit of the All India Congress (I) committee (AICC-I) held a demonstration outside Pakistan high commission in protest against Islamabad’s interference in India’s internal affairs.

The agitators led by Anjana Kanwar, president of the unit, raised anti-Pakistan slogans. They carried placards reading “our heart beats for Kashmir”, and “Kashmir is an integral of India”.

In a memorandum to the high commissioner, the unit said the Utterances of Pakistan’s foreign minister Sahibzada Yakub Khan amounted to “open provocation and direct interference in the internal affairs of India,
