Sir,

In your Feb 2 issue the letter “Sorrow too deep for tears” was shocking. I doubt it was written by a Sikh, How one can go on adnauseum about “stupid Sikhs”. S. Kapur Singh himself would have been embarrassed if not angry on the use of his exasperated utterance being beaten to death. I have been noticing that we are a hyper critical people, rarely offering any constructive suggestions. And critics are the last thing the youth of Punjab laying their lives on the line need today. If we don’t value their sacrifices, the least we can do is shut up.
