He said that the Indian Constitution on the basis of which the Sikhs had agreed to join the Indian Union, has been amended beyond recognition by the Hindu majority, using sheer force of numbers, and without the consent of religious and ethnic minorities.
“It is this dictatorship of the majority and the injustices perpetrated on the Sikhs, that triggered our struggle for independence,” he said, “and the struggle will continue till final victory.”
