KHUDIAN: The federal government has asked the Punjab government to take immediate steps for releasing all innocent people and rehabilitating army personnel who deserted their barracks following “operation Bluestar,” on the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
The federal home minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was speaking to reporters here Thursday where he had come to attend the cremation of Jagdev Singh Khudian, Akali Dal (Mann) body was found on Thursday from the Rajasthan feeder canal.
The minister hoped that the results of the all-party rally being held at Ludhiana on January 11 would be fruitful and help solve the Punjab problem.
