NEW DELHI: The union home ministry has sent invitations to Rajiv Gandhi and SS Mann for the all-party rally in Ludhiana on Jan 11.
The rally is being organized to counter what is called terrorism in Punjab. The home ministry has also invited other Akali leaders like S.S Barnala and P.S. Badal in order to involve factions. According to official sources neither the Congress I nor the UAD M responded to the invitation but the expectation is that they would attend the rally.
