CHANDIGARH: Police has been massacring Sikh youths in Punjab following the death in a bomb blast of Quadian police station house officer Gurswewak Singh.

Bhai Mangal Singh and four other Sikh youths were killed in a staged ‘encounter’ at village Rampur, by the Punjab police.

A police spokesman claimed that these people were involved in the bomb blast in which Gursewak Singh was killed. He was related to Home Minister Buta Singh.

Punjab police chief K.P.S. Gill justified the action by saying that a chit was recovered from Bhai Mangal Singh which said that Bhai Mangal Singh had killed the SHO.

Police also claim to have arrested Bhai Daljit Singh who they said was their accomplice.

It has also been learnt that two freedom fighters were killed in cold blood by the police, They were later said to have died in an “encounter” with the police. They were identified as Bhai Amarjit Singh alias Sehzada and Gureharan Singh alias Chan. He was a resident of Vchi Nangli village in Dist Ludhiana.
