CHANDIGARH: Four persons were killed and four Home Guards kidnapped, while security forces recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in Punjab during the past 24 hours.
Three of the Jawans later managed to escape the clutches of their captors.

One Parkasah Kaur was killed in Model Town in Ludhiana city last night.
A CRPF party led by DIG SS. Virk raided a house belonging to an ex-service man in Sursinghwala village under Chabal police station in Amritsar district this morning and recovered nine rockets of two Chinese AK47 assault rifles along with three magazines 10 cleaning kits of the Chinese rifle and a large quantity of ammunition.
