PEOPLE who have been even remotely connected with Punjab politics are not surprised by the most recent imposition of President’s Rule in the State. It is a common knowledge that this has been done to woo Hindu voters in Haryana because this is the last battle of survival for Rajiv Gandhi. The popularity of Rajiv Gandhi is fast nose-diving and he is trying several postures to arrest this trend. He is diverting attention of Indians and the World by raising the bogey of Pakistan’s growing nuclear power. He is crying “wolf” like his mother and blaming the U.S. for supporting Pakistan.
Fact of the matter is that Rajiv Gandhi is the head of “NehruGandhi Incorp” whose major function is to protect and promote the family business of ruling India by hook or crook. This Corporation has the same old machine which Rajiv inherited from his mother that follows a definite modus operndi:
- To create ethnic and religious fights.
- Never to come to peaceful terms with Pakistan and cry “wolf” about Pakistan, whenever there are internal problems.
- If these two do not work, cry hoarse that at the back of all his troubles is American Imperialism. 4. Go to Russia and ask for additional military aid
The above techniques are not new and they are constantly at work so that Indian population is continuously being manipulated to elect Prime Minister from Nehru dynasty. This is the sole purpose of Indian democracy and although it appears very insulting for 700 million Indians but fact remains that every time somebody puts a hand in the lottery drum with 300 million tickets (40% of voting members) the winner is Nehru Gandhi Incorp. For the Prime Minister’s job. All the government machinery is continuously engaged in achieving the above goal. If any chief minister stops playing the given game, he is toppled and President’s Rule is imposed. Frankly, I have even lost count of the number of times President’s Rule was imposed in Punjab.
There is nothing new in the recent development in the Punjab. The mechanism of oppression and suppression in covert fashion has been in place ever since 1947 and civil liberties in Punjab have been compromised, under the pretext of it’s being a buffer state between Pakistan and India. Oppression and suppression have undoubtedly accelerated since 1982 and“Prime
Minister’s Rule” has become the order of the day. It became obvious to the World in June, 1984, when Harmandir Sahib, Akal Takht Sahib and other Sikh gurdwaras were destroyed by the Indian army. The present events are the culmination of policies of three decades of rule by Nehru, his daughter, Indira Gandhi. They recognize that Sikhs have distinct religion, culture and language. They used this distinctiveness of their character as buffers for protection of Hindus in India against Muslims in Pakistan. They drummed up the mass hysteria and kept Muslims and Sikhs at each other’s throats. This led to three wars between Pakistan and India fought on the soil of Punjab and many, many thousands of Hindus killed Muslims and used Sikhs as buffers. The baptization of Khalistan was done in 1984, because Sikh psyche started to understand its own identity in this process. This has accentuated since anti Sikh riots in 1984, and therefore, Nehru Gandhi dynasty is directly in conflict with Sikhs and Sikhs have refused to protect the corporation anymore. It is interesting that there will be no more war between Pakistan and India in spite of cries on both sides, but by the same token there will be no free border between these two countries because it will be most beneficial for the Sikhs. The survival of Nehru Dynasty depends on continued conflict between India and Pakistan, and for it there is a readymade slogan that strong Pakistan is dangerous for India. In this context, I think it is in the best interests of the Sikhs that Pakistan should be strong as it is easier to negotiate peace with a strong and confident Pakistan.
To be a Prime Minister of India you have to be a direct descendent of the Nehru family. Though it is not written in the constitution of India yet it is followed most judiciously. People in India are brainwashed that here is nobody experienced to rule India, except the Nehru family. The Nehru family is projected as the united force and most secular although the reverse is true because all evil starts to keep Nehru’s in power. Therefore, it does not matter if there is President’s rule or any puppet Sikh tule the Punjab so long the supreme is Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi, like Hitler is a single-minded in his objective to preserve himself, and in the process, using Robeiro, the Punjab Police Chief, to butcher millions of Sikhs. These techniques have been well outlined and Rajiv’s mother left he blueprints of this for a follow-up delay the Christening ceremony of a process which began long ago when solemn pledges to give special status to Sikhs were not fulfilled.
