NEW DELHI, India, May 20, Reuter: Gunmen struck again in Punjab, killing at least 16 people including sleeping families and people at a bus stop, the Press Trust of India (PTI).said on Friday.
Gunmen sprayed bullets at two families asleep on rooftops in Jullundur on Thursday night, killing five people.
Gunmen shot dead five people standing at a bus stop and wounded five others in Bhatinda on Friday morning.
Hours earlier, six gunmen broke into a farm house in the Amritsar district of the North Indian state and killed six sleeping workers.
PTI said one militant was also shot dead.
