GLASGOW, Reuter: Frank Frank McAvennie struck twice as Glasgow Celtic came from behind to beat Dundee united 21 on Saturday to win the Scottish Football Association (F.A.) cup and complete the double in their centenary year.

LONDON, Reuter: Most British newspapers on Wednesday expressed sympathy for South African born runner Zola Budd, calling her a pawn in the political controversy surrounding her homeland.
Budd returned to Johannesburg on Tuesday after announcing she was quitting international athletics because of pressure caused by charges she had broken international boycotts by attending track meets in South Africa as a spectator.
