LONDON, Sept 5, Reuter: An Indian millionaire trying to make the fastest flight in a micro light plane from Britain to India landed in Muscat, Oman, on Monday after crossing the desert from Abu Dhabi.
Organizers said Vijay Singhania, who is in the 19th day of his attempt, would fly across the Arabian Sea to Gwadar in Pakistan on Wednesday. His first stop on the Indian subcontinent.
He is trying to beat the 34 day record set in January by British Journalist Brian Milton.
Organizers said Singhania, 49, was one day behind his own schedule.
