AMRITSAR, INDIA, Aug. 27, Reuter: A bomb was set off outside a hospital in the North Indian state of Punjab on Saturday killing one man and injuring 26, police said.
They said 12 of the injured were in serious condition after the blast in the town of Ajnala, 20 km. (12 miles) northwest of Amitsar.
Police said the bomb, which was tied to a bicycle in the hospital car park, was timed to go off shortly after 11 a.m.
They named the dead man as Sudesh Kumar and said he was visiting a relative who was a patient,
