LONDON, Reuter: The English Football Association on Sunday seemed split over the prospect of a break way English super league springing from a row over television coverage.

He explained: “There is a division of opinion among us whether we would have the right to veto a new league if it fulfilled all the required criteria”.

The 12 break way clubs are pressing ahead with plans for a 32 million pounds sterling (54 million dollar) four year agreement with a commercial television company it could be ‘signed on Wednesday.
