AMRITSAR, Punjab, India: Mystery surrounds an unnamed operation being carried out by Black Commandoes in the Mind area near Pakistan border and the four districts of Punjab. It has been confirmed by news agencies and military sources that near over hundred super commandoes with extensive training and specialization had been brought to the border area in helicopters on Friday for what they termed as field training center.
The intention and exact nature of the plan, however, could not be ascertained. But the D.I.G. Central Reserve Police Force, Mr. Virk had earlier disclosed that a highly specialized team would be given intensive training in the agricultural topography of the area and every information would be supplied to them about the freedom fighters regarding their weapons and methods of operation.
