New Delhi — India tribal guerrillas put six laborers to death Tuesday in a forest in northeastern India on Tuesday, the United News of India reported.
An armed gang of Tribal National Volunteers, a separatist organization, attacked the laborers in Nungcherra in remote Tripura.
Insurgents have been fighting for an independent state for their tribe in Tripura, which borders Bangladesh.
