Degeneration in Understanding of Sikhism: Unfortunately the religion, created for the whole mankind, is being brahmanized by a few Sikhs and they are trying to keep it limited to a few people. Because of the brahmanization of Sikhism by such Sikhs, the understanding of Sikhism in its real perspective is degenerating at a very rapid speed
Although slow degeneration in understanding of Sikhism was started during the 18th century, it entered into its exponential phase after June 1984, when the Indian C army attacked the Akal Takht and the Darbar Sahib (commonly G known as Hamandir Sahib and w Golden Temple), the temporal and spiritual authorities in Sikhism, respectively. Since then a lot of literature is being published, movies and TV serials are being produced to brahmanize Sikhism. The brahmanization of Sikhism has not reached its peak yet, nevertheless. There is already enough influence of the above propaganda on many innocent Sikhs. It is very difficult to estimate when such degeneration will stop and understanding of Sikhism in its real perspective will come back. The irony is that it is being done by the Sikhs, especially, by the so-called Sants (saints), the Raagis, the preachers and Sikh politicians.
