AMRITSAR: A meeting of the Akali Dal (Amritsar) which was held here, last week, under the president ship of Bhai Manjit Singh strongly condemned the arrest of Simranjit Singh Mann, and termed it as an attack on the fundamental rights and murder of democracy.
In press release by Bhai Ram Singh, general secretary of Akali DAl (Amritsar), while condemning the arrest of Mann called it Violation of Section 19 of the constitution which provides freedom to expression.
