AMRITSAR: Two weeks ago a new case was registered against Dr. Sohan Singh, the Khalistani Statesman in detention at Amritsar Security Jail, Punjab Khalistan, Case is based on F.LR. issued on August 27, 1994 saying that in March3, 1994 Dr. Singh met his youngest son S, Tejwant Singh Boparai on routine family visit. Dr, Sohan Singh greeted his son S, Tejwant Singh Boparai with an embrace and raised slogan’s of “Khalistan Zindabad” (Long Live Khalistan) and “Bill Clinton Zindabad” (Long Live Bill Clinton),
The same type of case was registered against Dr. Sohan Singh during his visit (Patiala (in custody) for a medical check, He raised “Khalistan Zindabad” slogans in front of the medical staff but the medical staff later denied that any incident happened.
Ina case against Col, Partap Singh, Punjab and Haryana Court has given a decision that peaceful and Democratic propagation of Khalistan is Constitutional under the Indian Constitution.
Dr. Sohan Singh was detained and extradited illegally from Kathmanda (Nepal) Oct, 19, 1993. But this false arrest was shown saying that he was arrested in Mohal, on Nov. 4, 1993 and was detained under N.A.S. Act. After ‘one year, more than 10 charges were filed in the case, since then he has been incarcerated, No Politician, Journalist ‘or close friends are allowed to see him. Only his close family members are allowed to visit. All family visits are closely watched and recorded by the various Intelligence Agencies, of India, He is not allowed to write to his relatives and friends or to communicate with the press.
