Honorable Jagmeet Singh Brar, a member of the Indian Parliament whose efforts in close coordination with Arjan Singh and High Command of Indian Congress Ruling party hope to spill Narsimha Rao as Prime Minister of India. With a great leader to the Prime Minister’s Party and they will Iead a crushing defeat of present ruling party in 1996. Mr. Brar, seated in the Parliament of India is the only Sikh M.P. who raised issues of Punjab and challenged the Beant Singh Chief Minister of Punjab, He took up the issue of Satluj Jamna Link Canal which the Central Government and Haryana State Chief Minister are determined to complete. This canal which would result in a complete devastation of Punjab lands.

Honorable Brar is considered enemy No.1 of Narsimha Rao govt. In secrete message to HC for India in Canada they were directed to use all possible means to disgrace Mr. Brar while he would be in Toronto.

It would have been most appreciable for the Sikh Gurdwaras and Associations to call a Press Conference in one of the leading Hotels of Toronto Where most intelligent, intellectual scholars and Press representation of Toronto Star, Sun. , Globe & Mail or Citizen of Ottawa Daily Intl, Newspapers and besides so-called Punjabi media were invited to attend a dinner and Press conference. It would fetched a great opportunity while in the conference Honorable Mr. Brar could have exposed the misdeeds of Narsimha Rao, the Govt. of India and called upon the International media attention to the mass killings of the Sikhs of Punjab and also the violation of Human Rights in India rand Panjab’s But it is a matter of great regret that a conspiracy was laid and no afford said conference was held by Sikhs of Toronto. To our great misfortune, Punjabi Akhil Radio of Sukhminder Hansra engaged Radio Talk Program on Sunday Nov.19,95 and some Sikhs and common folk put questions to Honible Brar which were worthless and bear no consequences.

On same day Sunday Nov. 19, 95, Honorable Mr. Brar was invited to Dixie Road Gurdwara to address the Sikh congregation. The Management of Dixie Road Gurdwara held a meeting with Ontario Babbar Party President S. Rajinder Singh, who warned the President and Management that at any cost they would not permit Mr. Brar M.P, to speak in Dixie Road Gurdwara on Nov. 19,95.

Mr, Brar came to Gurdwara at 2 pm and around 3 pm Mr. Harbhajan Singh) Pandori addressed few members formed by Sukhminder Hansra who made slogans of “Khalistan.” A great disturbance was created in Gurdwara because opposition lead by S, Tajinder Sahib would not allow Honorable Bran to speak. A timely intervention by a request of Mr. Inderjit Bal to Sikh Sangat, he called upon Mr, Tejinder Singh to speak who deliberately accused, indirectly Honorable Mr. Brar MP of India.

Just to close down the worst situation Honorable Brar with heavy heart addressed the congregation how he could prove his worth to win the confidence of Ontario Sikhs.as a true follower of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He took an ‘oath in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib to his only son and his daughters that he will not hesitate to make all sacrifices for cause of Punjab and Sikh struggle.

Lisa pity that Gurdwara President kept quit as Mr, Brar left the Gurdwara to catch his flight to India.
