SRINAGAR: Five security men were killed in clashes between security forces and militants in Baramullah in the trouble torn north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir Jan 12 official sources said.

Fifteen persons including five security men were seriously injured in the clashes which took place in four places in the border district.

Militants attacked border security force patrol party at Sumbal killing five security personnel and injuring five others.

In other three clashes between militants and security forces in Rafiabad Gunyar and Singpora 10 persons were injured reports Said

Meanwhile authorities relaxed curfew for 14 hours from 0500 hourly in the valley Sunday.
