NEW DELHI: The Government has given permission to 3,000 Sikh pilgrims to visit Pakistan for 10 days to celebrate Baisakhi on April 13 at Sri Panja Sahib.

Federation of Registered ‘Societies for Pilgrims President Balbir Singh said in a statement here that the jatha would leave for Pakistan: on April 5 instead of April 8 as notified earlier by the Shiromani

Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Amritsar owing to Ramzan on April 11.

The jatha will visit Lahore and Nankana Sahib during the visit.

A jatha will leave here on April 4 to join the devotees from Punjab and other states at Amnitsar from’ where they will go to Pakistan by three special trains.
