GUWAHATI: Two persons were killed and two unidentified bodies recovered as the police and paramilitary forces in Assam captured 29 suspected United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) militants from different parts of the state since Wednesday.

Two ULFA militants shot dead a businessman at Akaya bus station when he was waiting to board a bus with his wife Wednesday. The assailants escaped an official spokesman said here Thursday night.

A person was killed in a bomb blast Wednesday night at Nalbari town. Details were awaited

Two unidentified bodies were found near the coal town Margherita in Tinsukia district covered with garbage the spokesman said.

Two ULFA militants were arrested in Jorhat district and some ammunition were recovered.
