MOSCOW (PTI): Twenty-three people were killed when a Russian air force transport plane crashed soon after taking off from Tver northwest of Moscow Nov.12 Itar-Tass News Agency reported The plane which was on a commercial flight bound for the Armenian capital Yerevan had reached an altitude of 250 meters when it crashed near the village of Nekrasovo four and a half minutes after take-off killing the captain six air crew and 16 passengers. An investigation into the accident is under way the agency said.
