NEW DELHI: The Janata Dal (S)s main ally in Parliament the Congress (I) on Friday demanded an apology from prime minister Chandra Shekhar for allowing United States military aircraft on way to the Gulf to refuel in Bombay.
Senior Congress-I leader P Shiv Shanker said the party also expected the government to come out with a statement categorically repudiating its action which he said had raised a lot of doubt in the minds of Indians and the international community.

During the past few months the morally bankrupt Indian Government once again has accelerated its campaign to loot kidnap and kill innocent Sikhs. The barbaric Indian Government is carrying out these terrorist activities through its agents such as members of law enforcement agencies Black Cat squads and other agents who pose as freedom fighters. These Government agents collect ransom from innocent Sikhs kidnap their children and demand exorbitant ransom for their release and in cases where the victims are unable to fulfill their unreasonable demand they even kill their victims. The Government through its own media knowingly and willfully falsely accuses the freedom fighters for these terrorist activities.
The Panthic Committee strongly condemns these inhuman and terrorist acts. We are committed to put a stop to these terrorist acts against our people. We need peoples support and cooperation to catch and punish those individuals and groups responsible for these acts. Our fight is to liberate our people from the shackles of the evil Delhi regime so that they can also cherish the glow of freedom. We urge you to be watchful and vigilant. If possible arrest and punish those people who demand ransom or threaten to kidnap your family members. If this is not possible observe the physical features of those who either demand money for threaten you. Report those incidents to our units. We pledge to take appropriate action against the individual and groups who indulge in these inhuman acts Our freedom fighters are required to adhere to the Sikh code of conduct. We do not have any relations with an individuals or organizations who do not adhere to the Sikh Code of Conduct and indulge in unethical and inhuman conduct.
This committee is working to liberate Khalistan where its inhabitants can live in peace and freedom. This Panthic Committee absolutely has no desire to interfere in people’s lives by imposing social and cultural restrictions such as ban on eating eggs meat etc. We are committed to preserve our rich heritage language and culture and Bhangra and Gidda are an integral part of our heritage and culture.
This Panthic Committee is absolutely against the use of drugs and alcohol and will continue its efforts to make Khalistan a drug and alcohol free state.
Our mode of reform is through education persuasion through love and affection and bringing awareness to the society.
