Mr. Lone: There cannot be two opinions that migrant Kashmiri panda its belong to the valley. They have got their homes and hearths there. All of us want that they be rehabilitated but their migration itself and their remaining outside the valley for the last five years has created very serious and complicated problems for whose solution a persistent and well-coordinated groundwork needs to be done which the Indian Govern ment will not allow Hurriyat leaders to initiate. The biggest obstacle, I suppose, is the Indian Government’s design to use Kashmiri Pandits as a piece of evidence for its case before the world public opinion. Is it possible that the Government will allow the safe passage of Kashmiri Pandits to return to the valley and allow those elements who are associated with the movement to take the credit for their return and rehabilitation? I say no.
