KANSAS: On April 101992. Sangat from Midwest Sikh Association Kansas city joined the wonderful Vaisakhi celebrations. Guru ka langer was served for three days The entire Sangat and children were very excited at the function and they enjoyed the annual event
The Ardas for the Charhdi Kale of the Sikh Panth was performed by Bibi Mohinder Kaur mother of Mehar Singh.
Dr. Surjit Singh Kansas of Towa city explained the philosophy and teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. S. Harbhajan Singh Hundal president and Harbhajan Singh Chatha Secretary of Midwest Sikh Association Kansas city addressed the Sangat on the importance of Vaisakhi Dr-Harpal Singh Bal of Ames also addressed the Sangat Lowa Sikhs.
Two children Mandeep Singh “Lucky” s/o Mehar Singh and Gaspreet Singh s/o S Jagtar Singh actively participated in the program
Sangat from Chicago also visited the celebration.
Mehar Singh thanked the Wahegura for the opportunity to celebrate the annual Sikh day. He reminded the Sangat that Iowa governor Terry Branstad signed a proclamation last year and recognized April 13 as a “Sikh day in Towa.”
Mehar Singh appealed he Sangat to support the Sikh struggle for freedom the Khalistan
We need to strengthen our Sikh media to carry on our mission of Khalistan” he pleaded the Sangat. He thanked the Sangat for participating. The function was a great success.
