VANCOUVER: In the international Kabaddi tournament held here United Kingdom were the overall champions.
In the elimination round UK defeated USA4 6 to 19 to meet hosts Canada whom they vanquished 51-28.
Swama the UK stopper excelled in both the games. Mangi from India playing for USA could not find the form he displayed in California earlier this month.
Competitions were held in weightlifting, soccer, Kabaddi junior, volleyball, tennis and athletics also which will be reported in subsequent issues.
