NEW DELHI: The CBI has arrested a retired Brigadier of the Indian Army and a Govt scientist, who have allegedly been supporting the defense secrets to the foreign powers for the last many years. Highly place CBI sources told newsmen that Brig. R.S. Deol who briefly officiated as Major General before retiring was arrested on Thursday from his residence and Dr. M.N. Naroorkar a scientist working for the department of electronics was picked up from his Delhi residence. Brig Deol and Dr. Naroorkar were important agents of a Delhi based industrialist who was the main king pin in supplying the secret information to a foreign power. Brig Deol was working in the equipment and weapons department of the defense ministry of Govt of India. He retired on June 30, 1988.
