HYDERABAD: Janata Party President Dr. Subramanam Swamy has urged the Union Finance Ministry to look into the financing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad by arrangement with the American telecommunications conglomerate AT&T and to also take Up the malice with the US authorities
Addressing newspapers here last week De Swamy charged the RSS and VHP of being involved in anti-national activitis and reiterated his demand that the RSS should be banned its office-bearers detained under the TADA for two years
Referring to reports about AT&T offer for channeling funds to the VHP with contributions from NRIs Swamy recalled that it was through stich financing by ITI and other American multinational corporation’s tit the Allende Government in Chile was toppled
The RSS is anti-national and controlled from abroad. In 1942 prominent RSS men including A.B. Vajpayee acted as police informers of the British. In 1948 Gods an RSS pracharak is assinated Maharaj Gandhi and in 1992 RSS brought international shame on India by demolishing Babri Masjid he pointed out.
On the by-elections to the threes Lok Sabha constituencies Dr. Swamy announced that the Janata Party would Contest in three seats my lapore (in Madras) Guruvayoor (Kerala) and Gazipur (UP).
Saying that while his condemned the Congress for its failure in improving the Dunkel draft negotiated in December 1990 Dr. Swamy said he would expose the fact that the opposition to the GATT Treaty was being promoted by those very industrialists who had looted the consumers in & cape market.
On the LTTE’s activities Dr. Swamy warned that it was trying to infiltrate the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh und cautioned the authorities to take measures
