MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio: S. Surinder Singh Chauhan has resigned from the executive of the Sikh Council of North America with immediate effect. In a press release to World Sikh News, Mr. Chauhan states, “I feel that the real issues faced by the Sikhs in India and abroad are not addressed at all by the organization. If this organization is not sensitive to the present crisis facing the Sikhs and cannot condemn those responsible for wrong doings, then whom this Organization represents?
I do not want to be a part of such an organization which cannot play a significant role in the hour of great crisis.
