CHANDIGARH, India: Sukhdev Singh, consultant Editor of the Chandigarh based fortnightly ‘Dignity’ has decided to challenge the antiterrorist ‘and disturbed areas act of 1985 in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. S, Sukhdev Singh was recently released on the orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court after nearly six months internment in the Burail jail of Chandigarh. He was arrested in March, 1986 for publishing an allegedly seditious article in ‘Dignity’.
He also informed World Sikh News that Dignity would resume publication by mid-October. It ‘was forced to cease publication because of numerous obstacles and problems created by the government machinery.
