NEW DELHI: About 15 Indians including some serving army personnel’s have been arrested in J&R Punjab and Rajisthan, for giving information to Pakistan on the position of Indian troops on the border.

According to the authoritative sources, most of the arrests have been made in J&K. A few Pakistani nationals have also been arrested, although the bulk of the espionage work has been done by the Indians. According to one Senior Journalist, the home Ministry has confirmed the arrest of 29 persons.

The government of India has blamed Islamabad for attempting to get classified information through espionage.
