AMRITSAR, Nov.10, India; The annual election of the Shiromane Gurdwara Parbandhic Committee’s President will be held here on Nov. 30. The SG.PC. President, Mr. Kabul ‘Singh has summoned the General House, meeting of the body in Teja Singh Samundari Hall to elect the President, Senior vice President, Junior President, General Secretary and 17 member executive committee members. In the 160 member house, 139 members have the right to vote whereas the five head priests are the ex officio members without any voting rights. The term of the President has expired unless mutually decided the contest is likely to be between the candidates of the ruling Akali Dal and the break way Akali Dal lead by Parkash Singh Badal.
